In May 2020 we were approached by EQUANS, Part of the ENGIE Group following the global pandemic and with the need to begin the introduction back to work life safely.

With their operatives returning following the initial lockdown, EQUANS required a cleaning contractor to attend to all their on-site welfare units from Portsmouth up to and including London.

M5 Cleaning ServicesS supplied a dedicated team of two members who completed all 86 units within a two-month period, these were strategically planned and prioritised depending on site dates and their associated reopening. On each welfare unit and site M5CS delivered our full Swab, Sparkle and Fog Clean, our highest level of clean whereby we not only clean but are able to provide evidence of how well sanitised the areas are and safe for the workforce to return and for their day-to-day onsite cleaners to manager thereafter. M5CS supported their onsite cleaning staff with training to ensure that they were able to fully manage the cleaning tasks and were able to continually support the fight against the virus with appropriate knowledge and skills.

M5 Cleaning Services worked closely with managing supervisors at ENGIE, and Director of M5CS, Danielle Young was responsible for the day to day running of the contract and was the key point of contact to the valued client. Danielle produced regular updates throughout the works and updated the Client weekly with regards to progression. EQUANS were also provided with certifications and RLU Swabs readings before and after as evidence of benefit and satisfactory completion.

Below is data from our ’System SURE Plus RLU swab reader’. The unit gathers all swab readings and we take of note of swab numbers and locations to ensure the same places are being swabbed after cleaning. The data is stored on the device until downloaded. The numbers cannot be tampered with only locations updated so this gives sure evidence of our cleaning and result, we then note these results on certification for each client.
